How to manage your deals

Get up to speed with managing a deal in Sales Hub; from reviewing key components and contacting the customer, to completing or cancelling the deal. Our demo below walks you through each step.

Respond quickly

Buyers show strong purchase intent after building a deal, with 84% not submitting a lead elsewhere for at least three days. That increases to 91% within the first 24 hours.

Responding to deals quickly increases the likelihood of converting to a sale, as well as providing a good customer experience.

Manage the deal outcome

Be sure to mark the deal as ‘Complete’ or ‘Cancelled’ as soon as you know how the customer wants to proceed. Doing so will ensure your stock availability is kept up to date and, if the customer payed a reservation fee through Autotrader, this will be returned to them.
