What is changing is how we help turn those moments into even more valuable opportunities. The new-look vehicle product page has been designed to be higher-performing across the board – helping you generate stronger connections with your buyers, and ultimately drive more action.
Why we’re making this change
We’re giving buyers the flexibility to interact and buy in whichever way suits them best. Whether that’s enquiring directly, visiting your forecourt, or completing more of the buying steps online.
This means creating a product page that not only showcases your vehicles and your dealership but also makes it easier for consumers to take the next step in their journey. The easier it is for them, the more likely they are to connect with you – and convert.
The redesigned page continues to deliver all the high intent leads you already value, while adding new options for buyers to engage and build confidence online. It’s about giving you more of what works: quality, high-intent connections that drive real outcomes for your business.
What’s Changing
We’re optimising the whole page, from the layout and flow to how key information is presented, with one goal in mind: helping buyers feel confident to take their next step.
Here’s what’s new:
Clearer next steps: The new layout encourages buyers to take more meaningful actions on Autotrader.
Flexible contact options: Buyers have choice over how to contact you – with clear signposting of the actions available to them including: Message and Call. Plus, for those retailers benefiting from Deal Builder, ‘Next steps’ – which include Reserving or Building a deal.
Easier to navigate: Information is now presented in a clear, structured way that helps buyers find the details that matter most – quickly and easily.
We’ve worked closely with retailers, tested extensively with buyers, and listened to recent feedback to ensure all these changes consistently deliver real impact and strong buyer connections.
What It Means for Retailers
The redesigned product page has been built for performance, with every element optimised to convert more buyers.
And this is just the start. Once we go live in November, the page will continue to evolve –powered by testing, insight, and retailer feedback.
The new page design will go live across all vehicle types on our desktop and mobile website next week. This will be followed by our app in the coming weeks.
